Week of December 1, 2014

  • Monday – 30 minute easy run

  • Wednesday – Elliptical, 30 minutes
  • Thursday – Rest
  • Friday – Rest
  • Saturday – Final Long Run with DRC Marathon Group, 11 miles
  • Sunday – Hatha Yoga at the J

Week of November 24, 2014

  • Monday – Fitivity
  • Tuesday – Elliptical, 45 minutes
  • Wednesday – Rest
  • Thursday – Thanks Giving Hope Run 5K with Emma Grace
  • Friday – Rest
  • Saturday – Simulator Run (was supposed to be 17 miles, but I only got 7 in – I was SO sick)
  • Sunday – Three mile loop at Bachman Lake with Gloria, Liz and Marcy (Gloria and Liz were running a marathon! Marcy and I came to cheer them on and did three miles with them instead!)

  • Monday – Lunchtime Walk
  • Tuesday – Fitivity Level 3; 60 minute pace run
  • Wednesday – RunOn! Social Run with Emma, 2 miles
  • Thursday – Rest
  • Friday – Elliptical 30 minutes
  • Saturday – Long Run with DRC Marathon Group, 22 long ass, mind-numbing miles
  • Sunday – Hatha Yoga at the J

Week of November 10, 2014

  • Monday – Miles of walking with the kids at the museum and the park today!
  • Tuesday – Fitivity Level 3; 65 minute tempo run
  • Wednesday – yoga stretching
  • Thursday – DRC Social Run, 2 mile walk
  • Friday – Fitivity
  • Saturday – Long Run with DRC Marathon Group, 18.25 miles
  • Sunday – Rest

Week of November 3, 2014

  • Monday – STAYED IN BED
  • Tuesday – 40 minute recovery run
  • Wednesday – Fitivity strength training; 3.5 mile social run with Emma Grace at RunOn!
  • Thursday – Rest day
  • Friday – Yoga stretching at home
  • Saturday – Long Run with DRC Marathon Group, 16 miles
  • Sunday – Rest/Family Day

Week of October 27, 2014

  • Monday – felt tired, continued to rest up for the Half
  • Tuesday – 1 mile warm-up, 3×1200’s at the track at speed with 400 at recover, 1 mile cool down
  • Wednesday – No exercise, worked on the Half
  • Thursday – No exercise, worked on the Half
  • Friday – No exercise, worked on last minute items for the Half
  • Saturday – No formal exercise, but on my feet all day at the race site getting it prepared for the race Sunday!
  • Sunday -DRC Half Marathon, plus a twelve hour day at the race site managing break-down, load and unload

Week of October 20, 2014

  • Monday – training derailed, more to come
  • Tuesday – DRC Half Team Lead Meeting
  • Wednesday – 2.5 mile short run at lunch; 2 mile run/walk with the six-year old princess at WRRC Wednesday night run
  • Thursday – Rest
  • Friday – Rest
  • Saturday – Paced the Michelob Ultra 13.1 Half Marathon with Marcy with perfect splits, lots of PRs in the group and even an age group winner!
  • Sunday – Umm, it’s my birthday. I didn’t do anything. 🙂

  • Monday – training derailed, more to come
  • Tuesday – 60 minute training run with fartleks
  • Wednesday – Dallas Marathon Social Run with Marcy and Emma Grace, 2 easy run/walk miles
  • Thursday – training derailed, more to come
  • Friday – training derailed, more to come
  • Saturday – Long Run with DRC Marathon group, 14 miles
  • Sunday – Bike ride with Sean and Emma at the lake!

Week of October 6, 2014

  • Monday – Fitivity
  • Tuesday – 2 mile speed walk at lunchtime; Speed Work at the Track! 6x800s
  • Wednesday – 2 mile speed walk at lunch
  • Thursday – Rest
  • Friday – Walked forever at the Texas State Fair with the six year old 🙂
  • Saturday – Long Run with DRC Marathon group, 19 miles
  • Sunday – 30 minute bike ride at the lake

Week of September 29, 2014

  • So, this week was pretty much a bust. I woke up for my long run last Saturday with a fever and ditched my 16 miler. I stayed sick until Friday. I mean, really sick – the kind that keeps me in bed for days unable to breath with prescription antibiotics that would probably try to cure Ebola if we gave it a shot. Ugh!!!
  • Sunday – RACE – Run/Walk the Biggest Loser 5K with my six year old princess!

Week of September 22, 2014

  • Monday – 40 minute lunchtime run
  • Tuesday – 65 minute R/W ratio increase workout
  • Wednesday – Rest
  • Thursday – Rest (planned on TRX class, but gym was closed for Rosh Hashanah)
  • Friday – 2 mile speed walk at lunch
  • Saturday – sick!
  • Sunday – still sick!

Week of September 15, 2014

  • Monday – Fitivity
  • Tuesday – Speed Work at Lunch (Killed it!)
  • Wednesday – Fitivity
  • Thursday – Rest (should have done TRX, but I overslept)
  • Friday – Rest
  • Saturday – Long Run with DRC Marathon group, 14.5 miles
  • Sunday – Really rested!!

  • Monday – Rest (sick kiddo at home)
  • Tuesday – 1 mile warmup, 7 hill repeats with springing and binding, 1 mile cooldown
  • Wednesday – 30 minutes spin cycle
  • Thursday – Rest (hills were killing my hip)

  • Saturday – Long Run with DRC Marathon group, 14.5 miles
  • Sunday – Rest

  • Wednesday – 30 minutes spin bike
  • Thursday – TRX Dig Deep class and 30 minute walk at work

  • Saturday – Rest (Worked at the club race)
  • Sunday – Rest

  • Tuesday – Fitivity Level 2, Week 2, Day 1 plus 80 minute run with DRC training group

  • Saturday – Long Run with DRC Marathon group, 13 miles
  • Sunday – Hatha Yoga

  • Thursday – Fitivity Level 1, Week 4, Day 2
  • Friday – 2.5 mile run in the heat
  • Saturday – Long Run with DRC Marathon group, 10.36 miles
  • Sunday – Rest Day

Week of August 4, 2014

  • Monday – 30 minutes on the spin bike
  • Tuesday – Fitivity Level 1, Week 4, Day 1 and 80 minute run with DRC training group (in a torrential downpour!)
  • Wednesday – 30 minutes on the elliptical
  • Thursday – “Walking the Walk” two mile walk at the office at lunch (I led the group) and 3 mile social run for the DRC Half Marathon
  • Friday – Rest day
  • Saturday – Long Run with DRC Marathon training group, 9.25 miles
  • Sunday – Rest day (traveling home from Arkansas)

Week of July 28, 2014

  • Monday – 30 minutes on the elliptical
  • Tuesday – PT appointment, 65 minute run with DRC training group
  • Wednesday – Fitivity Level 1, Week 3, Day 1
  • Thursday – hatha yoga
  • Friday – Fitivity Level 1, Week 3, Day 2
  • Saturday – Worked at the DRC Cross Country Relay
  • Sunday – Long run with Marcy & Alyson, 9.30 miles

Week of July 21, 2014

  • Monday – 30 minutes on the elliptical
  • Tuesday – Fitivity Level 1, Week 2, Day 1 and 1 hour run with DRC training group
  • Wednesday – 30 minutes on the stationary bike
  • Thursday – Fitivity Level 1, Week 2, Day 2
  • Friday – much needed day of rest
  • Saturday – Long run with Dallas Running Club marathon training group, 8.75 miles
  • Sunday – dance class, 3 hours

  • Tuesday – Fitivity Level 1, Week 1, Day 1
  • Wednesday – dance class, 1 hour
  • Thursday – hatha yoga
